Delete your account

How to ask Think Tech to erase your Pen Fight account and what is kept afterwards.

Effective 28 August 2026 · Last updated 18 September 2026

This page is for Pen Fight, published by Think Tech, on the Google Play Store and at https://www.penfight.xyz/.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Pen Fight while signed in. The diary, next to your name, shows the stamp.
  2. Tap the stamp, then delete account, then delete it.
  3. This device starts again from the 045. Signing in again with the same email starts a new game. The old one is not restored.

This control is only on the signed-in sheet. If you cannot open the game, email hello@penfight.xyz from the address you signed in with, subject "Delete my Pen Fight account", and we will close it the same way.

What gets deleted

Once the account is closed, the following cannot be recovered:

  • The binding between your Google or Apple sign-in and that game.
  • Your signed-in snapshot: Display Name, pens held, championship and defence status, and any match in progress.
  • Your Display Name on the ranking. Match rows keep an anonymised name so the class record still adds up.

What is kept, and for how long

Some data is kept even after deletion, because Pen Fight is a ranked game and other players' match history depends on it:

  • Match Records (who played, the result, points, the date) stay in the match log, with your Display Name replaced so the row can no longer be read back to you. These anonymised rows are kept indefinitely, the same as any other Match Record.
  • The sign-in itself. Google or Apple can still open. Signing in again with the same email starts a new game. It does not restore the old one.
  • Server and security logs (network and device data, such as IP address, kept for abuse prevention) are retained for up to one year from the date they were created, then deleted.
  • Your correspondence with us requesting deletion is kept for as long as needed to show the request was made and honoured.
